About SCOUT

Our Mission

SCOUT is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide its members and industry a professional network setting for collaboration with easy access to physician experts in skin cancer, particularly non-melanoma skin cancer.

SCOUT provides consultative services to industry for the advancement of non-melanoma skin cancer research and development. SCOUT members volunteer their time in various collaborations internally and externally and ultimately help support SCOUT goal to provide members research support via a competitive grant program.

Our Partners

Our international consortium of physician members, expert in the study of non-melanoma skin cancer and patient care, have clinical and research practices that are referral centers for patients with advanced disease.

SCOUT consortium teams are multidisciplinary with representatives from dermatology, surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, translational research and epidemiology. This structure allows SCOUT clients to benefit from the expertise of all specialists involved in the care of skin cancer patients during the study design phase, to capitalize on SCOUT’s broad patient referral base to more rapidly meet enrollment goals during the execution phase, and help interpret findings and data during the analysis phase.
